Dezember 2011.

Anáhuac – country between waters

Anáhuac for the Nahua people is the word for their homeland – a country of contrasts, colours and smells, a country of tragic events in the past and the present and at the same time a country full of lust for life and deep spirituality. The inhabitants of Anáhuac honour the dead as they honour the living and they always find a reason to party.
The capital of Anáhuac with its 21 million inhabitants is one of the biggest cities worldwide. Metropolis, Moloch, Mexico.

For the next three months I will visit this country to get to know its landscapes, people and art. I will accompany Mexican artists and explore the awesome historic evidences of the long passed and still alive cultures. With this blog I would like to document the journey and share my experiences with you.

The journey starts December 30th 2011.
